Scentsy Commons Lights

Who can resist the enchantment of a dazzling light tunnel? At Scentsy Commons in Meridian, prepare to be mesmerized by their spectacular annual light show with 987,000 lights and a majestic 75-foot-tall Christmas tree. Get ready to take some photos. All ages can enjoy this activity and it's FREE.

Scentsy Point of Life Event

Scentsy Commons offers a magical night out with festive music, warm beverages and a dazzling light display. It's their seventh-annual Point of Lights Event, from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, Tuesday, Dec. 12, and Wednesday, Dec. 13. This FREE event includes performances from local high school and community choirs, refreshments, a visit from Santa, Clyde the Camel and a live Nativity! For more info, go to their Facebook page.

Winter Wonderland at Indian Creek

A holiday favorite for good reason! Stroll amidst a million lights along Indian Creek, where you'll discover Penguin Island, the mesmerizing fire-breathing display, and the whimsical teddy bear swing ride. Indulge in hot chocolate and treats as you wander, then glide into the heart of it all for a delightful ice-skating experience. Ice skating info here.Open until January 2, 2024

The Village At Meridian

Whether it's a cozy date night or a family outing, The Village is your ideal ice-skating destination. After gliding on the ice, cozy up by one of the fire pits or grab a warm drink nearby. The rink is open till January 15, weather permitting, with reservations required and available online. Don't worry – same-day walk-up reservations are also possible by scanning the nearby QR code while shopping! More info here.

Visit Santa

Santa will be at The Village at Meridian through December 24th! Santa's House is in Fountain Square and visits are by reservation only. We encourage guests to reserve early as Santa expects a busy season this Christmas! Interested in photos with Santa? More info here.

Winter Garden aGlow at the Idaho Botanical Garden

Experience the Idaho Botanical Garden aglow with 600,000 sparkling lights every Wednesday to Sunday, 6-9 p.m. During the holidays, delight in Santa visits, a snow globe bar, stocking stuffer station, and local school choir performances. Each visit treats you to complimentary Hot Cocoa and Cookies. Secure your tickets with reserved time slots before they're gone!

Breakfast with santa at the zoo!

Have a holly jolly morning at Zoo Boise for Breakfast with Santa on Sunday, December 17, 8:30 am - 10:00 am! Guests will be treated to a buffet breakfast, personal time with Santa Claus, kids craft time, animal experience, and photos with Santa (if purchased in advance). Then you'll have the rest of the day to explore the zoo!

The Nutcracker by Ballet Idaho

Celebrate the joy of the season in glittering fashion with this beloved holiday classic December 15-24. Enjoy the playful charm of the mice, the magical transformation of The Nutcracker Prince, and the dreamlike adventure that takes Clara to The Land of Sweets.

Tubing at Gateway Park

For a fun family Boise, Idaho, winter activity, head over to?Gateway Parks?in Eagle Island Park and go tubing together! Here you will find a special tubing hill perfect for kids! Get some free pictures taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus too!?

Downtown Boise Ice Skating - Glide on Grove

The newest ice-skating rink is in downtown Boise! Downtown Boise's newest planned attraction,Glide on Grove, is an all-inclusive, and?completely FREE activity for the entire community to enjoy.?The skate rink will encompass the City of Boise's holiday tree each year from Thanksgiving weekend through the last Sunday in January, creating a magical, seasonal destination for all.

Meridian Symphony's, "Home for the Holidays" Concert

Take a break from the busyness of the season and enjoy these seasonal classics Dec 15-16 @7:30 pm.

Favorite selections include Anderson's "A Christmas Festival," songs from Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker," Hess's "Christmas Overture" Lovrien's whimsical "Minor Alterations" and Krogstad's "The Bells of Christmas." The Meridian High School choir will sing accompanied by the orchestra and Young Artist Competition winner, Darren Lu, will also be featured with his winning Mozart Piano Concerto.
