Haunted World

For those who love spooky thrills, Haunted World is the largest haunted attraction in Idaho. Featuring haunted houses, scary mazes, and other creepy surprises, it's a must-do for Halloween enthusiasts.


Linder Farms Pumpkin Patch

Location: 7165 S Linder Rd, Meridian, ID

Dates: October 1–31, 2024

Highlights: Linder Farms is a must-visit for families looking to embrace the fall spirit. The farm offers a vast pumpkin patch where kids can pick their own pumpkins, hayrides, a corn maze, and a petting zoo. Don't miss the fall-themed photo ops or warm up with cider and donuts at the farm stand.

Farmstead Corn Maze & Pumpkin Festival 

Location: 2500 S Eagle Rd Kuna, ID

Dates: Thru October 31, 2024

Highlights: The Farmstead is one of the Treasure Valley's favorite fall attractions. In addition to the pumpkin patch, it features one of the largest corn mazes in the area, pig races, and a kid-friendly tractor pull. Little ones will love the jumping pillow, and the corn box is always a hit with the kiddos.

Pro Tip: Weekdays are less crowded, making it easier to explore all the attractions with the family.


Zoo Boise: Boo at the Zoo

Location: 355 Julia Davis Dr, Boise

Dates: October 28–29, 2024

Highlights: Bring your little ghouls and goblins to Boo at the Zoo! Zoo Boise hosts this fun and safe Halloween event where kids can trick-or-treat with the animals. There will be special animal encounters, Halloween-themed decorations, and costumed staff members ready to hand out treats.

Idaho Botanical Garden's Fall Harvest Days

Table Rock Hike & Picnic

Squawky & Spirits at the Old Idaho Penitentiary

Location: 2445 Old Penitentiary Road Boise, ID

Dates: Friday, October 25: 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm (last admission 9:30 pm).
Saturday, October 26: 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm (last admission 9:30 pm).

Highlights: It's that time of year! The Old Idaho Penitentiary's annual Halloween bash is back! Enjoy an evening of Halloween exploration at the historic Idaho State Penitentiary, with music, photo ops, food trucks, alcohol available for purchase, spooky history presentations, and bumps in the night throughout the site, along with the the Old Idaho Penitentiary's haunted cell block, Terror on Cell Block 4 (Idaho's only haunted cell house), and the Haunted Infirmary! Plus appearances by the Thrill the World dance group, The Delphi Oracles, Big River Paranormal, and so much more!

Pro Tip: This event is for 18+ years of age, and many parts of the site are not wheelchair accessible. Get your tickets, as this sells out fast!
